Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Meet Your Samui Match app, operated by Dog and Cat Rescue Samui Foundation, 112/35 Talat Dao, Bo Put, Amphoe Ko Samui, Surat Thani 84320, Thailand. By using the app you accept them.

What the app is for

The app helps you discover animals in our care, save favourites, suggest corrections, share photos, plan a shelter visit and support our work. It does not create an adoption, sponsorship or volunteering agreement. Adoption, sponsorship and visits are always arranged directly with our team and remain at the Foundation's discretion.

Animal information

We try to keep animal profiles accurate and up to date, but circumstances at a shelter change quickly. Ages are often estimated, availability can change without notice, and profile text is written to help you get to know an animal. Information in the app is provided for general guidance and is not veterinary or behavioural advice.

Your contributions

• Only submit photos and information you are allowed to share.
• Do not submit content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, or that shows identifiable people without their agreement.
• Do not upload personal data about other people.
• You must be 16 or older to submit photos, or have a parent or guardian do it for you.
• Photo submissions are additionally covered by our Photo Submission Terms.
• We may review, edit, decline or remove any submission at our discretion.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its data.
• Do not use the app to harass staff, volunteers, or other supporters.
• Automated abuse-prevention limits apply to uploads, suggestions and matches.

Donations and external links

Donation and messaging links take you to external services such as PayPal, GoFundMe or WhatsApp. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies and we are not responsible for them. Donations are generally non-refundable; if you believe a donation was made in error, contact us and we will try to help. Some donations may be received through a supporting organisation abroad and then transferred to the Foundation.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, text and the Foundation's photos belong to Dog and Cat Rescue Samui Foundation or its licensors. Photos you submit remain yours; you give us permission to use them as described in the Photo Submission Terms. You may share links to animal profiles freely — that is what they are for.

Availability and liability

The app is provided "as is" and may be unavailable, incomplete or interrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Foundation is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.
