I’m a very lucky cat because I met Jana, one of the shelter’s long-term volunteers. When I became seriously ill, she took me into her home and refused to give up on me. She spent many sleepless nights caring for me when I couldn’t eat, kept throwing up, and even needed oxygen to stay alive. I also needed several injections and medications every day. Jana fought for my life like a true hero, and thanks to her love and determination, I’m still here today.
