Lenny

I’m Lenny, and I originally came to the shelter because I needed treatment for a problem with my ear. I thought it was only a short visit. I had someone I considered my owner, so I waited patiently, expecting them to return and take me home once I was better. But they never came back. Days passed, and eventually the shelter became my new home. The team cared for my ear and made sure I was safe, but I’m still waiting for what I hoped would happen that day: for someone to arrive, call my name, and tell me I’m going home. I spend much of my time relaxing on my favorite bench, but I’m always happy to make room for someone who wants to sit beside me. I love to cuddle and would happily trade my shelter bench for a comfortable couch and a person who will never leave me waiting again. If you can give me the loving and secure home I once believed I already had, perhaps you could turn my long wait into a happy ending.
