Hi, I’m Krabi. ❤️ Not too long ago, I almost didn’t get the chance to tell you my story. I was hit by a car and badly injured. I don’t know what would have happened to me if Jane, one of the shelter’s former volunteers, hadn’t found me. She stopped, helped me and made sure I got to the shelter and received the medical care I desperately needed. My injuries were serious, and I needed an operation to save my life. And that’s when something pretty amazing happened. People who had never even met me decided that my life was worth saving. ❤️ So many of you donated towards my operation and treatment, giving me the chance to have that surgery and start my long road to recovery. I obviously can’t say thank you myself, so I hope my story can do it for me. Because of you, I’m still here. I got another chance. And I’m incredibly lucky that so many people cared about a street dog they had never met. 🐾 Now, finally, I’m getting stronger. I’m still recovering here at the shelter, surrounded by people who have cared for me through some of the hardest days of my life. Every day feels a little more like I’m getting my old life back. But there is one thing I’m still missing: a family of my own. It’s strange to think that the accident that almost ended my life might also be the reason my life changes forever. Maybe someone will read my story, come to meet me and see more than the dog who was hit by a car. Maybe they’ll see a dog who fought his way back, who still has so much life and love ahead of him. So to everyone who helped save me: thank you. ❤️ You gave me the chance to get this far. I survived the hardest part. Now I’m hoping the best part is still to come. Maybe this terrible accident will somehow lead me exactly where I was always supposed to end up: home. 🏡❤️
