Black and tan with ears standing sharp and straight, I like claiming the highest step around and keeping watch from there. My expression is serious, the sort that suggests I take my responsibilities as yard sentry fairly seriously. Once you've earned my trust though, I soften considerably. I think I'd suit someone who appreciates a dog with quiet vigilance and a loyal streak.
