Hi, I’m Bella… although around here you’ll also hear people call me “Princess.” If you’ve ever visited the shelter, there’s a good chance we’ve already met. I love welcoming visitors and making sure everyone feels at home. I have one little habit you should know about. If you’re busy petting another dog and I happen to be nearby… don’t be surprised if I gently squeeze myself in between. I just can’t resist joining in. After all, there’s always room for one more cuddle! People tell me I’m a beautiful blonde Golden Retriever, but I’d much rather be known for how much I love being around humans. A few scratches behind my ears, a cuddle, or simply sitting together makes my day. I also enjoy going on walks, but because of my medical condition, I have to keep them short. If you really want to spoil me, take me for a drive to the beach instead. Feeling the breeze, watching the waves, and spending time with my favorite people is pretty much my idea of a perfect day. I’ve been part of this shelter family for a long time, and I love greeting new faces every single day. So if you come to visit, make sure to say hello. I’ll probably find you before you find me!
